INSTALLATION
• Attach and secure the other end of the hose bundle with the gun in the same way.
Connect the control cable to the machine and the pistol.
• Connect the
ASCOJET
to the compressed air source. The compressed air source
may be a local compressed air system or a portable compressor. The connection
threading on the
ASCOTJET
is ¾" NPT inside threading.
NOTE
Optional connection method: To facilitate quick coup-
ling and decoupling, we recommend the use of a claw
coupling with a safety ring to protect against inadver-
tent release of the connection (see Fig. 3).

WARNING
Connect the
ASCOJET
to the electrical power supply. For the technical data
please refer to the technical data sheet chapter 1.10.
The
ASCOJET
is now ready for blasting operations.
CAUTION
Make sure that the blasting hose is not crimped.
Make sure that electrical connections are protected against contact with mois-
ture or water.
Compressed air to
ASCOJET
pressure must not exceed 232 psi (16 bar).
CAUTION
Make sure that all protective devices are in function and all protective covers
are mounted (see picture below).
