Accessing the MEBX Setup Menu

The following procedure allows you to access the MEBX setup menu:

1. During BIOS POST, press the hotkey F4.

2. Disable the Intel AMT hotkey function in the BIOS setup. Select "Advanced", choose "Intel

AMT configuration" then select "Intel AMT hotkey".

3. Enable the Intel AMT setup prompt that is located on the same page. Save and exit. During

the BIOS POST, press CTRL+P.

5.8

BIOS Update

The following procedure allows you to update the BIOS:

1. Prepare a dos bootable USB thumb drive.

2. Get the BIOS flash tool Pflash.exe from the BIOS vendor.

3. Copy the Pflash.exe and BIOS ROM file into the USB thumb drive.

4. Power on the MITX-CORE-820 board.

5. Press <F2> to enter the BIOS setup menu.

6. Select the USB thumb drive as the first boot device.

7. Save and reset, then the enclosure will boot from the USB thumb drive.

8. Run the command Pflash BIOS.ROM /bbl /cvar /sa to flash the BIOS.
