1. Introduction- Scope of the manual/Field of application
This instruction manual refers to the
Laguna
refrigerated
cabinets.
The information that follows provides indications relating to:
- Use of the cabinet - technical features- installation and assembly - information for the operator in
charge of use - maintenance interventions.
This manual is to be considered part of the cabinet and must be preserved for its entire duration.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for:
- Improper use of the cabinet - incorrect installation not carried out in compliance with the standards
indicated - electric power supply faults - lack of envisioned maintenance - unauthorised modifications
and interventions - use of non original spare parts - partial or total non observance of the instructions.
This manual must be available at all times for consultation by the operators and the staff in charge of
maintenance. In case of transfer to third parties, this manual must be provided to the new user or
owner. The supplier must also be informed of the transfer.
In case of damage or loss, request a copy from the supplier.
N.B.Electric appliances may be dangerous for ones health. Regulations and existing laws in
force must be respected during installation and use.
Whoever uses this cabinet must read this manual.
2. Presentation - Foreseen use (Fig. 1)
The
Laguna
, cabinet is a display case designed for the presentation and sale of every kind of fresh fish
and is designed in three main versions:
- A) a non-refrigerated “ice-bed” unit, for economic service.
- B) an “ice-bed” unit with cooling coil in the basin (to reduce the consumption of ice).
- C) refrigerated with evaporator and trays in stainless steel, ideal for displaying shellfish.
The different versions come in two lengths: 1250 - 2500 mm and must be connected to a water drain
outlet in the floor.
These Arneg S.p.A. cabinets comply with the provisions of 2012/19/CE Directive 49/
2014)
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
known in Italy as
RAEE (Rifiuti da Apparecchiature Elettriche ed Elettroniche)
, aimed at preventing the
increase of said waste, promoting recycling and decreasing disposal.
The crossed bin symbol present on the product plate declares that:

the cabinet is marketed as of January 1, 2011 (reference date valid in Italy only, Law
25/2010, LD 194/2009)
z
the product lies within the obligation for separate collection and cannot be treated as
domestic waste or taken to a waste disposal site
It is the user's responsibility to deliver the product intended to be dismantled to the
collection centre specified by the local WEEE (RAEE) authorized body for professional
recovery and recycling.
If the product is replaced with a new one, the user can request the dealer to take the old
product, regardless of its brand.
It is the responsibility of the manufacturer to provide for recovery, disposal and
treatment at the end of product's service life either directly or through the collection
system.
Breaches of the Standard envision specific sanctions, fixed independently, with its own
law, by each individual State Member of the EU and binding in accordance with all those
who are subject to these rules.
On considering this product a WEEE, Arneg S.p.A. interprets the Orgalime guidelines,
taking into account the implementation, by the Italian law with Legislative Decree 49/
2014, both of the 2012 / 49/EC Directive, and the 2011/65/EC (RoHS) Directive, relating
to use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

is not applied to the product sold outside the European Community.
