Parental Controls
Parental Controls determines what programs are allowed to be watched
based on ratings.
To set Parental Controls, highlight the
Configure
button to the right of
Parental Controls:
and press
OK
.
Note: You can also set Parental Controls from the User screen.
Favorites
Favorites allows you to create a set of favorite channels. When using a
favorites list, only those channels are listed in Guide, and when changing
channels using the CH +/- button, only those channels will be shown.
To create, edit or delete a Favorites list, highlight the
Configure
button to
the right of
Favorites:
and press
OK
.
Note: You can also work with Favorites lists from the MenuBar.
Save Your Preferences Settings
Once you have changed any Preferences settings you want, use the
Direc-
tion Buttons
to highlight the
Submit
button and press
OK
.
If you want to discard your changes, highlight
Cancel
and press
OK
.
Working With Settings/Users
The Users screen is actually two different screens: Parental Controls set-
tings and User settings.
Parental Controls
settings determines
what ratings and
content is restricted
and what channels are
blocked.
User settings is where
you enter a new pass-
word or PIN for a user
account.
