4. Place the control spool, thrust bearing, and thrust
washer into the governor flyweight assembly; then
using a rubber band, secure the weights around the
control spool.

5. Apply clean engine oil to the governor assembly and
install on the camshaft; then hold the flyweight
assembly and remove the rubber band. Install a new
O-ring on the camshaft.

6. Using a new O-ring, install the camshaft support
housing and tighten the cap screws to 7 ft-lb.

7. Install the camshaft drive pulley and cap screw; then
using a suitable holding tool, tighten the cap screw to
59 ft-lb.
