turned on /
Device doesn’t shut off
Batteries empty or incorrectly
installed?
Check battery position or replace
battery.
Screen too dark?
Push button 1 several times.
Flap defective or turn off?
Open the flap and press and hold
keys 1&2 simultaneously (1s).
Device may be located in the
Video mode PAL or NTSC?
Press button 1 for 8 seconds.

Bad image quality
– Device is in manual calibration
mode?
– Device has been running very long
or is warming up otherwise?
– Calibration has been interrupted.
– Battery almost empty?
Carry out manual calibration, close
the flap for approx. 0.5
s, but do
not lock.
Insert new battery.
Device doesn‘t start
despite battery inserted?
Software crash
Remove the battery for 30 s and
reinsert.
Screen bright, but no
image visible
Shutter is locked. Occurs with weak
batteries.
Switch off the device and switch it
on again. Insert new battery.
Repair
If there is a defect in the device, please write us an
e-mail with the purchase date and the invoice copy
before sending it to us for repair.
You will then receive an RMA number. If the repair
takes place within the warranty period, we cannot
guarantee that you will get back your device. In ge-
neral, you will receive an updated version with the
latest software.

Update-Service
Our products are constantly being further de-
veloped. TILO is also continuously developing
further. To ensure that your TILO is always up-to-
date, we also offer a fee-based update service. You
can then send your TILO to us and we update both
hardware and software. Finally, the device is still
tested for water tightness and is filled with a fresh
nitrogen filling, then you get it back updated. Please
