Operation
The Operator Console provides
a)
a 240x128 pixel liquid crystal display
b)
5 function key pushbuttons F1-F5 which align with key legends on the display
c)
an Acknowledge pushbutton to acknowledge alarms and faults
d)
a backlight pushbutton to control the display back light
e)
a yellow alarm indicator lamp
f)
a red fault indicator lamp
g)
an audible sounder to annunciate alarms and faults
h)
a contrast control for the display
i)
a power switch controlling power to the instrument and to the remote sensor units
j)
a system fuse
Additional fuses are mounted on the front panel of some versions to segregate power to each of
the sensor modules, when for instance separate REM1 sensors are mounted in individual
chambers.
