and then pull it hard all the way ( II. ).
3.3.2
Hot Res tart
If the en gi ne is ope ra ted at hig her am bient tem pe ra tu res, then
tur ned off and al lo wed to sit for a short time, it may not res tart on
the first pull. If ne ces sa ry, use the fol lo wing pro ce du re:
•
Turn the en gi ne switch ( 1 ) to the « OFF » po si ti on.
•
Mo ve the cho ke le ver to the « OPEN » po si ti on.
•
Hold the ac ce ler ator in the « MAX » speed po si ti on.
•
Pull the star ter grip 3 to 5 ti mes.
•
Fol low the «Star ting the en gi ne» pro ce du re in sec ti on 3.3.1
and start the en gi ne with the cho ke le ver in the «
OPEN » po si -
ti on.

Don't let the star ter hand le (5) spring back against the
en gi ne. Ma nu al ly le ad the star ter ro pe back to the in iti -
al po si ti on to pre vent da ma ge to the star ter.
Risk of ac ci dents
If the en gi ne starts with the thrott le in the « MAX »
speed po si ti on, the equip ment can mo ve for ward
ra pid ly. This may re sult in per so nal in ju ry.
• Turn the en gi ne switch to the « OFF » po si ti on
be fo re per for ming the fol lo wing pro ce du re. This
will pre vent the en gi ne from star ting and run -
ning at ma xi mum speed when the thrott le is in
the «
MAX » speed po si ti on.
