The
Network Statistics page displays various statistical information of the selected
network link (NIC-1 or NIC-2).
Field/Item Description
Select Network
Interface Using the dropdown menu, select the network adapter that you want to view statistical
information for.
MAC Address The MAC address of the network card is displayed for the selected NIC. A Media Access
Control address (MAC address) is a unique identifier attached to most network adapters
(NICs).
Maximum
Transmission Unit
(MTU) This field displays the MTU. Typically this is around 1500. MTU refers to the size (in
bytes) of the largest packet that a given layer of a communications protocol can pass
onwards. However, communications between two points on a network must agree on an
MTU by comparing MTUs and selecting the
smaller of the two.
Interface Link Status This field allows you to see the link status of the network adapters. The link can be either
UP or DOWN .
