Basic operation of the position display

Description:
Standard display mode:
Refers to the situation when only one display light is illuminated on the left in the display win-

dow, 

all display lights on the right side of the display window are switched off and 

all axis displays do not flash in their current position resp. the display lights beside the keys 

 , 

 and 

 and the display light of the selected 

axis is illuminated.

6.1

Activation

Introduction of the function: Switch on the position display by pressing the main switch on 

the machine. If the position display is not built-in it is switched on by pressing the ON/OFF 

switch. The position display starts the self-testing, during this process the LED shows the 

following:
A. The serial number of the position display;
B. Company name;
C. Software version; 
after completing the self-test the 

position  display  switches  over  to  the  standard  dis-

play mode.
When you are working in the standard mode the 

position display saves: 
A. The position of the position display when it was 

last switched off;
B. The selected coordinates and the selected

tool when the position display was last switched off; 
C. The mm-/inch system which the position display 

used.

6.2

Deleting

Introduction of the function: 

When the position display is in the standard display mode the displayed value is deleted on 

the coordinate axes.
Proceeding when machining:

Go back to the standard display mode;

Press the key 

 , select the X axis and then press the key 

 delete the X axis;

Press the key 

 select the Y axis and then press the key  

 delete the Y axis;
