4.2
INSTALLATION OF PUSH-BUTTON CONTROL STATION
Install the push-button control station
2
on a vertical surface within the visibility of the door
(near the door) in an easily accessible place at a convenient height of at least 1.5 m (
Fig.
4) and
at a safe distance from the moving elements of the door. It is recommended to install the con-
trol station on the same side where the drive is installed. The cable connector of the control sta-
tion should point downwards. To access two mounting holes, remove the station cover (
Fig.
7).
4.3
DRIVE RELEASE
During maintenance the drive gearbox can be disconnected from the drive shaft (released).
In this case, the door leaf can be moved manually.
To release the drive (
Fig.
8) use the hex key to unscrew the locking screw
1
on the rotary lever
until the screw comes out of the location hole in the drive housing. Then use a wrench to turn
lever
2
so that when tightening the locking screw enters the next location hole
3
. Reverse these
steps to lock the drive again.
Y
ATTENTION!
During mechanical release the drive should be disconnected from the mains. Per-
forming the release operations is restricted to trained personnel only and is allowed only when
the door is closed!
Be careful when using the release. When the drive gearbox release is activated, uncontrolled
movement of the door leaf is possible if the door springs are weak or broken or the door leaf is
not balanced. Do not stay under the opened door!
The released door leaf is allowed to be moved manually at a moderate speed with no jerks.
Do not push the door leaf.

ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS
Y
ATTENTION!
Electric shock hazard! When organizing access to the control unit, performing elec-
tric connections and setup, make sure that the mains power is off (power switch of the drive is
turned off). Follow the electrical safety rules and electric equipment installation procedures!
Electrical installation shall be performed professionally. Use a crimping tool to install wire ter-
minals onto strand wires. For correct connection, the connectors of the control unit are made
in different colours and their contacts are marked.
To gain access to the integrated control unit, loose the screws and remove the drive cover
(
Fig.
10). Button station, electric motor and drive encoder are connected to the control unit by
the manufacturer. Premade electric connections are shown in
Fig.
11 (
TR-3019-230E-ICU
) and
Fig.
12 (
TR-3019-400E-ICU
).
5.1
POWER CONNECTION
Y
ATTENTION!
When connecting the drive to the power line, it is necessary to provide a device
(for example, a circuit breaker), which ensures complete cut off in case of overvoltage catego-
ry III. The device shall be installed in accordance with the electric installation procedures and
should be located in an easily accessible place at a convenient and safe height (1.5–1.9 m). On
a typical diagram (
Fig.
4), as an example of such device a line circuit breaker (main switch) is rec-
ommended for use.
For connection to the power line, it is recommended to use a short circuit and overload protec-
tion device (circuit breaker) for 6 A.
Protective earthing is performed with a ring end cap using a screw coupling with a washer.
