Testing the Printer
To make sure the printer is functioning correctly, use the Print Desktop command
in the Finder.
Using the Print Desktop command
Check the following.
•
The printer is connected to the computer and turned on.
•
The system folder window is open (if not, double-click the folder on the start
up disk).
•
There is paper in the printer.
Page Setup Dialog Box
1. Select Page Setup from the File menu.
The Page Setup dialog box will open.
2. Make sure the paper type and size settings match the pa-
per loaded in the printer. (Factory settings are Laser Pa-
per, US Letter / A4.)
If the paper type does not match, select the appropriate pa-
per.
3. Click OK.
Print Dialog Box
1. Select Print Desktop from the File menu.
The Print dialog box opens.
2. Click Print to begin printing.
