configuration menu rather than switch settings to set the boot device.

DAT drives use the same tape utility programs used by Alpha Micro's 1/4" and 1/2" magnetic
tape drives: MTUSAV, MTUDIR, and MTURES. The use of these programs is documented in
the System Commands Reference Manual.
OPERATING SOFTWARE—MINIMUM FILE VERSIONS
The following file edit versions (or later) are required to support the various DAT drives. If your AMOS
operating system does not include the required versions as listed below, they may be obtained from
Alpha Micro Technical Assistance Center or via TABBS.
If you receive your DAT drive as part of a factory integrated computer, all the required files will
be included with your AMOS operating system.
