5. Change the
Load Balance Method
as needed. You can assign
different load distribution methods to different static trunks on the
same switch.
Choose from the following:
Src MAC
— Source MAC address.
Dst MAC
— Destination MAC address.
Src-Dst MAC
— Source address/destination MAC address.
Src IP
— Source IP address.
Dst IP
— Destination IP address.
Src-Dst IP
— Source address/destination IP address.
6. Select the member ports that you want to add to or remove from the
static trunk by clicking on the ports.
Caution
To prevent the formation of network loops in your network topology,
do not remove ports from a static port trunk without first
disconnecting their network cable. Network loops can result in
broadcast storms that can adversely affect network performance.
7. Click
Apply
.
A confirmation message is displayed.
8. Click
SAVE
to save your changes to the startup configuration file.
