Specifies a previously defined embedded filter policy.
offset —
a value from 0 to 65535, an embedded filter entry X will have an entry X + offset in the
embedding filter.

Description
This command configures filter-name attribute of a given filter. filter-name, when configured, can be
used instead of filter ID to reference the given policy in the CLI.

A string of up to 64 characters uniquely identifying this filter policy.

Description
This command configures the filter policy scope as exclusive, template, or embedded. If the scope of
the policy is template and is applied to one or more services or network interfaces, the scope cannot
be changed.

form of the command sets the scope of the policy to the default of
template
.

Parameters
exclusive —
When the scope of a policy is defined as exclusive, the policy can only be applied to a
single entity (SAP or network port). Attempting to assign the policy to a second entity will result
in an error message. If the policy is removed from the entity, it will become available for
assignment to another entity.
template —
When the scope of a policy is defined as template, the policy can be applied to multiple
SAPs or network ports.
embedded —
When the scope of a policy is defined as embedded, the policy cannot be applied
directly to SAP/interface. The policy defines embedded filter rules, which are embedded by
other exclusive/template filter policies. embedded scope is supported for IP and IPv6 filter
policies only.
