Firmware
- The CRT-300 stores firmware and updates in Flash memory,
and cell data, thresholds, and calibration in EEPROM. Both types of memory
retain data with power off. Site setup and readings are stored in EEPROM
and then stored to the removable memory card when Save is selected.
Memory Card
- After saving cell readings to the memory card, you may
clear Cellcorder temporary storage and take readings on another battery. You
may use Microsoft Explorer to transfer memory card files to a computer.
Readings in temporary storage can also be sent to a computer via IR.
Memory Card Files
- The
CLC300.CCF
configuration file holds setup data
for all sites on a memory card and is accessed when reading or saving site
setup. The
.UPG
file contains CRT-300 firmware updates. Cell readings are
in
.CDF
data files, which can be imported by the BAS program into an
.ADF
accumulated data file, or viewed separately using the CRT-300
Previewer program.
When the CRT-300 creates a .CDF file, it also creates a
.CSV
file with the
same name. Microsoft Excel uses .CSV (comma separated value) files to
display data in spreadsheet format. If the .CDF file is overwritten, the .CSV
file will be overwritten.
TIP
: At Load Data|Cell Data, the Cellcorder screen displays only CDF cell
data files. Other file formats are handled automatically.
CAUTION
: Use only one memory card. If you use two (or more) cards,
each card will contain a Site 001, Site 002 and so on because each will
contain a
.CCF
configuration file.
12.1 Saving to the Memory Card
Shift+Save
To save readings, press Shift+Save. At
Enter File Name
, type a name, up to
eight characters, no spaces. Press Select Names to select an existing name.
To save to the memory card, press Save. After saving, if you copy the file
from memory card to computer, you may delete the file from the card if
space is needed. Note the memory card does not support subdirectories; save
to the root directory. Note also, saving readings to the memory card does not
delete them from Cellcorder temporary storage.
TIP
: You cannot insert a space in a file name.
