TONE SETTINGS ST
In this menu you can change the frequency of the ST border tones to fit
your personal preferences
.
The higher the number, the higher the pitch.
The lowest tone corresponds to iron, while the highest to the highly
conductive metals. Please consider when changing the lower ST tone,
that the tone of the channel RT has its own distinct value (adjustable via
menu “SETTING TONE “).It is recommended to try and not set the ST
tones to the same or similar value as the RT tone as it will become indis-
tinguishable from the latter.
Advice from an experienced searcher:
Reducing the tone of iron and the tone of the RT can significantly facilitate
the perception of multiple signals when working in a littered place, espe-
cially in the RT-ST mode.

OTHER SETTINGS
Duration ST.
This parameter sets the level of the duration of the tone
bursts in the Sound Modes RT-ST and RTL-ST. The far left position
corresponds to the shortest tone duration.
It is configured separately for
each program.
Volume RT.
Adjusts the sound volume of the RT through the detection
channel. There are 9 gradations, where 3 is standard volume of RT for
AKA devices without processing. From this value, the volume of the RT
can be either reduced or increased.
It is configured separately for each
program.
Economy Mode [On. / Off.]
This parameter switches the current excitation
level in the coil and allows you to adjust the sensitivity and power con-
sumption to fit different search conditions (see above)
It is configured
separately for each program.
MM speed [1..5]
Adjusts the recovery speed of the detection threshold
by the identification channel (ST) in MM mode. The higher the littering
of the area, the more preferable the higher speed values. In general, the
parameter is selected according to the conditions of a particular search
location.
