1. Disconnect the sensor from the device and turn it on without the

sensor. The device will first display “Sensor is not adapted” and, after a

pause, the operating screen will load. Turn off the Turbo, turn off the

device, connect the sensor, and turn on the device

2. Turn on the device with the button

        pressed.

The factory parameters will be loaded,

it will be written on

the screen. The device will turn on at

the factory program

number 1.

MODE“ECONOMY”

In the “Economy” the sensor operates at the minimum excitation

current. This mode allows you to improve the comfort of your search on

soils with a complex and variable salinity (for example in the surf of the

beach), or at locations with extreme iron debris.

Attention! After switching to “Economy” mode it is advised to ground

balance the device.

For reference, the detection range in this mode, when air testing a large

43cm  copper coin, such as a Victorian Penny, is approximately 35cm

(10” DD coil 6,5-7 kHz).

Thanks to the significant reduction in the consumption of power in this

mode you can run up to 40 hours on a set of fully charged batteries.

Switching to the turbo is made through the “Add” Menu, section “Add

Settings” or by a long press of a button

Advice from an experienced searcher:

The “Economy” mode should be considered as the main mode of op-

eration of the device, since in this mode the device works perfectly in

almost all search conditions. Increase of current in “Norm” (and even

more so in “Turbo”) should be done if conditions (dry, not salted soil)

allow to do it without increasing phantom responses of the device and

deteriorating target identification. At the same time, with each step of

increasing the current to the sensor, the depth increases on average by
