Departement of international trade:
In rare cases, such as after replacement of the coil or attempting to bal-
ance on a metal object, a situation may arise when you cannot perform
an automatic ground balance. This occurs because the current value of
the phase vector moves out of the locked system acquisition sheet (such
as a significant change in ambient temperature).
You can solve the problem by balancing in manual mode. To do this,
while in the automatic balancing press the
to go to the manual
mode and using the buttons
and
get the vector of the ground signal moving from left to right in strictly
the horizontal direction. After that, the balancing procedure will operate
normally.
Advice on ground balance witch AKA devices in various conditions from
an experienced searcher:
If the soil vector on the screen loops (in the absence of metal of course),
then this is a strong signal from the soil + dampness with a conductive
medium (electrolyte). Accordingly, the greater the current, gain, amplitude
of the swing at the balance, the more difficult it will be for the device. This
is equivalent to screaming a phrase to a person directly in the ear. He will
go deaf and understand nothing.
Consequently:
1. Economy mode.
2. Decrease in gain, usually 6-7 is enough.
3.
DO NOT MAKE BIG SWINGS
during GB!
It is better to do the movements of the coil during GB in this way:
Keep the coil 10 centimeters off the ground. Turn on the GB, and grad-
ually begin to approach and move away the coil with an amplitude of 5
centimeters . The “louder” the soil (the longer the vector on the screen),
the smoother and with lower amplitude the movements of the coil
should be. Sort of smoothly “chasing” the soil vector along the axis.
It is not necessary to wait for the GB signal. You can switch to manual
mode, and continuing the movement, use the +/- buttons to put the
