7.3 IGMP Snooping in SNMP-FSH2602MG v2 

 
When enabling function of IGMP Snooping, SNMP-FSH2602MG v2 will listen in on IGMP 
traffic. Please click “

Forwarding and Filtering

IGMP Snooping

”. 

From WebUI, user can know that video client (port 13) joins “multicast group 239.1.1.1”, 
and there is one multicast group connecting port 9. With snooping function, Switch can 
easily know that when receiving packets from multicast group 239.1.1.1, it just only 
transmits packets to port 13, does not need transmit packets to other ports, it will reduce 
switch loading.
