4. Tracert Test
:
Trace route command is a network diagnostic tool for displaying
the route (path) and measuring transit delays of packets across an IP network.
Trace route proceeds unless all (three) sent packets are lost more than twice,
then the connection is lost and the route cannot be evaluated. Ping, on the
other hand, only computes the final round-trip times from the destination point.
First, you need to specify an IP / FQDN, the test interface and used protocol
number. Used protocol number is either “UDP” or “ICMP”, and by default, it is
“UDP”. Then, system will try to trace the specified device to test whether it is
alive after clicking on the “Traceroute” button. A test result window will appear
beneath it. There is a “Close” command button there can let the test result
windows disappear.
5. Reboot:
You can also reboot this device by clicking the “Reboot” button.
6. Reset to Default:
You can also reset this device to factory default settings by
clicking the “Reset” button.
7. Wake on LAN
: Wake on LAN (WOL) is an Ethernet networking standard that
allows a computer to be turned on or awakened by a network message. You can
specify the MAC address of the computer, in your LAN network, to be remotely
turned on by clicking on the “Wake up” command button.
8. Backup Configuration Settings
: You can backup your settings by clicking the
“Backup” button and save it as a bin file. Once you want to restore these settings,
please click Firmware Upgrade button and use the bin file you saved.
Afterwards, click on “Save” to store your settings or click “Undo” to give up the
changes.
