9.1
Display and Menu Selection
The display (5) of the measuring instrument ALMEMO 2690-8 consists of a dot
matrix LCD display with 128x128 dots, or 16 lines with 8 dots. For the acquisition
of measuring data with the required functions and for the programming of the
process control, the sensors and the device parameters, 3 categories of menus
are available: Measuring-Menus (s. 10), Programming-Menus (s. 11) and Assis-
tant-Menus, which can be called up over corresponding selecting menus. Of the
9 measuring menus, there are 3 ´user´ menus U1, U2, U3, which are freely
definable by the user (s. 10.7).
