Array Measurement 

Especially when determining the average veloc-
ity in a flow conduit according to the guidelines 
VDI/VDE 2640, measurements are to be carried 
out in a net of individual points in a cross-section 
which is placed vertically with respect to the flow 
direction (s. man. 3.5.5). A special menu for net 
measurements  is  available  to  record  all  single 
values or to have the possibility to repeat error 
measurements. It can be selected in the function 
´Average  value´,  using  the  key 

  <ARRAY> 

.  The 

menu  can  be  used  for  other  point  measure-
ments, too, of course.
