Let’s now use the scope’s Segmented Memory mode of acquisition to
capture 100 consecutive occurrences of CAN error conditions. But to
complete the rest of this lab your scope must be licensed with the
Segmented Memory option.

Push the horizontal position/delay knob to re- position the trigger point
back to center- screen.

Set the scope’s timebase to
200.0 µs/div

[Run/Stop]
front panel to begin repetitive acquisition again.

[Trigger]
front panel key.

Trigger: ID & ~RTR
softkey; then select
All Errors
using the Entry
knob.

key in the Trigger section of the front panel;
then select the
Normal
trigger mode.

softkey; then turn the Entry knob to select

the number of segments to capture.
