Program ROM Checksum Errors (705 to 710)
The instrument power-on diagnostics perform a
checksum on each programmed ROM (A2 controller
assembly). If an invalid checksum is found for a
particular ROM, an error code is generated. If a
defective programmed ROM is found, replace it with
another ROM with the same part number. Refer to
Chapter 5 , “Replaceable Parts.”
Although some of these errors might result in a
blanked display, it is possible to read these errors over
GPIB. Refer to
