PROCEDURE FOR AN ADVANTECH 1.0 GHz IPC CONTROLLER
System Shutdown
Perform a 5DX System Shutdown
1. Perform a long-term shutdown on the 5DX.
2. Turn off x-rays.
3. Exit out of the 5DX user interface.
System Backup
Perform a Backup of the 5DX System Files and Applications
Note:
Before you perform a backup of the needed 5DX System files; you should:
•
Shutdown the 5DX system and close all windows.
•
Double-click the 5DX reset icon to verify that all services are shutdown.
You will need to access the following directories once Windows XP Professional, Agilent
5DX System Software Version 8.2.3, and any subsequent Agilent 5DX System Software
patches have been installed. Backup the system specific files in the directories to a
network or a CD RW Drive.
•
C:\5DX\NDF – All the NDF file set
•
C:\5DX\RTF – All the RTF file set
•
C:\5DX\Panels – All the application panel files
