5. Copy the files in the directories from either the CD or the Network location and
paste them to the corresponding file on the hard drive. Select Yes to All to update
the existing files.
6. Repeat until all of the directories have been copied.
7. Close Windows Explorer.
System Startup
System Restart for the 1.0 Ghz Controller
1. Reboot the machine. Logon as Administrator.
2. You’ll see an Itex window pop up, press any key to continue and to advance
through a series of errors or warnings. Logon name = “s”. Select “Startup” and
press <ENTER>. Select “Automatic Startup” and press <ENTER>. Progress through
errors/warnings.
3. Once the system is started up, restore NDF and RTF files to the machine panel
applications.

System Shutdown
Perform a 5DX System Shutdown
1. Perform a long-term shutdown on the 5DX.
2. Turn off x-rays.
3. Exit out of the 5DX user interface.
System Backup
Perform a Backup of the 5DX System Files and Applications
Note:
Before you perform backup of the needed 5DX System Files and Applications; you should:
•
Shutdown the 5DX system and close all windows.
•
Double-click the 5DX reset icon to verify that all services are shutdown.
You will need to access the following directories once Windows XP and 8.2.3 have been
installed.

C:\5DX\NDF - All the NDF file set
