2. Tighten the two (2) thumbscrews that hold the cover in place located on the back of
the controller.
3. Grab the handles on the front of the controller and slowly push the system
controller tray back into the electronics bay.
4. Replace the four (4) 10-32 screws to the front of the system controller securing it to
the electronics bay.
Note:
If any cables/connections have become loose or detached as a result of this process – reconnect all of them now
(except the power cord) to ensure the system works properly.
Power up the System
1. Plug in the power cord on the back of the IPC system controller.
2. Power on the expansion chassis.
3. Power on the controller.
Note
: The system controller may power on automatically when the chasis is power on.
System Restore
Perform a Restore of the 5DX System Files and Applications
The following directories will need to be restored once Windows XP and 8.2.3 have
been installed.
•
C:\5DX\NDF - All the NDF file set
•
C:\5DX\RTF – All the RTF file set
•
C:\5DX\Rxx\Calib – The machine specific files
•
C:\5DX\Panels – All the application panel files
•
C:\5DX\Config – Contains specific configuration settings along with the
software license file
•
C:\5DX\Rxx\Master\TRCMDPRO.cmd – Configuration settings for transferring
5DX result files and images
Restore System Specific Files from a Network or a CD RW Drive
1. Logon as Administrator
2. Close any 5DX error boxes and interface screens that may be open and exit from
the 5DX interface.
3. On your Windows desktop, open Windows Explorer.
4. Locate the above directories at a network location or on a CD.
