The

query
identies
the
instrument
type
and
software
version
by
returning
the
following
string:

Where:

the
software
revision
of
the
instrument.
An
*IDN
query
must
be
the
last
query
in
a
message
.
Any
queries
after
the
*IDN
query
in
a
program
message
are
ignored.
