 CAUTION

 

 

The gantry axis does not have to be removed from the system 
for replacement of the toothed belt if there is sufficient free 
space. 
Check that the controller is switched off and secured against 
restarting. 

Ensure that the cables are disconnected from the controller during 
work on the gantry axis.

 

 
Procedure: 

1.  Check whether the controller is switched off and secured against 

restarting. 

2.  Remove the covers (1) on the end pieces (7) (undo bolts). 
3.  Undo the toothed belt clamping bolts (2) on the carriage (3) on both sides. 
4.  Remove the tension/clamping plates (4) on both sides and undo bolts (5). 
5.  Pull out the old toothed belt (6). 
6.  Place the toothed belt ends on both sides on the toothed tension/clamping 

plates and tighten bolts (4). 

7.  Note: The new toothed belt must be installed centrally in the tension/clamping 

plate.  

8.  Fasten tension/clamping plates (2) in the carriage (3). 
9.  Draw toothed belt together with tension elements into the profile and bolt down
