If this distance should exceed
5 mm., intervene by loosening
the motor fastening screws
(Fig. 84), remove the drive belt
and move the motor away from
the compressor by a few
millimetres by sliding it along
the slots.Tighten the motor
fastening screws.
Refit the belt, placing it in the
race provided in the motor pulley
and in the innermost race of the
fan, turning it by hand to enable
the belt to go over the diameter
of the fan and to fit into the race.

The drive belt is checked by measuring the yield of the same.
This operation must be carried out every 250
machine operating hours as described below:
1 Remove the protective cover as shown in
figures 82 by unscrewing the fixing screws.

2 By exerting a pressure of at
least 5 Kg., check that the belt
does not yield by more than 5
mm. compared to its original
position (Fig. 83).
