ON-LINE MEASUREMENT WITH FIXTURE DEVICE (OPTIONAL)
The scanner has been designed to fit into a special holder (optional) to be fixed on the machine. The holder contains a
Tag that identifies the machine and which is read by the instrument at the time of measurement.
The support lets you easily and quickly place the scanner to measure moving products and it guarantees maximum
precision of measurement. It is therefore possible, mounting a support on each line, to periodically monitor the
production of all machines with just one micrometer: the measurement data saved in memory will be associated to
the identification number of the line/machine given by the Tag inserted in the fixture.

Correctly mounting the support on the line allows the product to always be perfectly centered in the measurement
field when the scanner is inserted in the housing.
When measurements are made using the fixture device for on-line measurements, we recommend operating as follows:
1.
With HWS.1 operating, make sure that the "
safe/arm
" is at
position A
2.
Insert HWS.1 into the specific housing
3.
Once HWS.1
has been inserted correctly,
press the trigger
4.
If the product is positioned correctly, the measurement starts according to the Averaging Mode programmed
in the measure setup.
5.
At the end of the measurement, the instrument emits a long beep and the measurement remains displayed
for the time equal to that programmed and saved in the memory (if saving is enabled).
6.
At this point
release the trigger
and extract HWS.1 from the housing of the fixture to perform further
measurements.
