Connections For Built-In Appliances
The water feed, drain and mains power connections must always be to
the side of the appliance. There is no room for these connections
behind the appliance. The connections must remain accessible for
servicing purposes even when the appliance is installed.
In the above figure you can see an example of how the appliance
should be installed when built-in. It must always be possible to isolate
the appliance from the mains and it must be possible to shut the water
tap.
The particular situation at the place where the appliance is to be instal-
led, the position of existing supply connections, and also any national
or local connection regulations will define the actual installation.
For Correct and Safe Guidance of the Hoses:
0
1.
Prior to pushing the machine into the niche, screw retaining straps to
the left and right of the rear wall and use them to fasten the hoses and
mains cable.
2.
When pushing the appliance into a niche between units, first pass the
hoses and mains cable through the plinth of the unit and then pull
them through progressively as the appliance is pushed into place.
During this process it is imperative that the hoses are laid without
kinks.
Important!
Under no circumstance is the machine to be screwed to the
work surface above it or to neighbouring units. Vibration will be tran-
sferred!
