Cleaning the Circulation Pump

Warning!
Switch the washing machine off and unplug
from the mains before cleaning the circulation pump!

First perform an emergency drain (see "Performing an Emergency
Drain" section above).
2.
Take hold of the tab on the outer cover and
pull off.
3.
Put a cloth on the floor in front of the circu-
lation pump cover. Some water may run out.
4.
Unscrew the circulation pump cover
in an anticlockwise direction and
remove.
5.
Remove foreign body from the
pump housing.
6.
Check whether it is possible to turn the
pump impeller. (Jerky pump movement is
normal.) If it is not possible to turn the
impeller, contact customer service.
