All AE commercial inverters come standard with an Ethernet port that is intended to
be connected to the Internet or to a local area network. Communication is one way –
the inverter only communicates externally to the AE cloud hosted servers.
Ethernet Network Layout
AE offers a robust, direct web-based monitoring solution for the AE 3TL that allows
you to remotely monitor the performance of your installation. The following figure is
an example of the network layout for this type of installation.

To utilize this monitoring service, the following installation steps must occur:
• Inverter must be installed and wired to the customer's local area network
(LAN).
• Inverter must be assigned an IP address and be able to communicate to an
outside network.
• An online account must be created. This is an automated process that can be
completed by visiting the www.refulog.com website.
