Grasp the screws and pull the cooling fan module from the
RAID appliance. See
Figure 5-7
.

Align the replacement cooling fan module with the open bay
and push the module into the RAID appliance until it seats
completely.

Tighten the screws on the cooling fan module.
Do not
overtighten.
The Fault LED on the front bezel goes out.
Replacing a Power Supply Unit
When a PSU fails
■
The alarm sounds.
■
The Fault LED on the front bezel lights up.
■
The system monitor displays an error event.
A failed PSU should be replaced as quickly as possible to maintain
power system redundancy.
Note:
PSUs are hot-swappable.

Turn off the affected PSU.

Squeeze the PSU’s release latch.
