As soon as you hear a beep and the
symbol in the upper right corner of the
on-screen message (see image
above) has changed its colour from
red to grey, you can say the desired
name.
After saying the name, the system
gives you visual and acoustic
feedback, stating whether the
command could be successfully
performed or not.
Operation via voice commands
Below you will find descriptions on
various typical and/or important
examples of dialogue sequences.
Dialogue sequences not described
below function almost identical/very
similar to the described ones.
Changing to another mode of
operation
Situation: the CD player mode is
currently active.
Action: the user wants to change to
the radio mode.
User: activates speech recognition.
User: "Radio".
System: "Radio".
System: activates the radio mode.
To perform a certain radio function via
speech control, the user needs to
activate speech recognition again
and then say the desired command,
see examples below.
Examples on radio control
Situation: the radio mode is currently
active.
Changing to another waveband
Action: the user wants to change from
the AM to the FM waveband.
User: activates speech recognition.
User: "FM".
System: changes to the FM
waveband.
Selecting a station via frequency
Action: the user wants to change to
another FM station via entering a
frequency.
User: activates speech recognition.
User: "Frequency 96 dot 3".
System: changes to the regarding
frequency.
Selecting a preset station
Action: the user wants to select a
station stored in the second autostore
list (AS2).
User: activates speech recognition.
User: "Autostore list".
System: displays the first autostore
list (AS1).
User: "Next".
System: displays the second
autostore list (AS2).
User: "3".
System: plays the third station stored
in the list.
Assigning a name to a preset station
You can assign names to a maximum
of 12 preset stations (stored in the
autostore lists or favourite lists, see
chapter "Radio").
To be able to assign a name to a
preset station, the regarding station
must currently be played and the
autostore or favourite list where the
station is stored in must be shown on
the display.
