Finding Reports About the Share Removal

Each remove-share operation creates two reports as it runs:

drain_share_rule_for_share_

share-name

_

time

.rpt, and

remove.

job-id

.rpt

These describe two of the phases in removing a share. The first phase uses a 
placement rule (see 

“Draining One or More Shares” on page 12-35

 of 

CLI 

Storage-Management Guide

) to drain all files and directories from the share. The 

second phase removes the share from the namespace.

Use 

show reports

 to see these reports listed. For example, this shows the two reports 

(highlighted in bold text) from removing the it5 share:
