Installing a Backplane Board

The housing supports two backplane boards.  The basic system
includes a backplane already installed on the right panel.  Should you
need to install more SCSI hot-swap drives, you need to install another
backplane on the left panel.

Follow these steps to install a backplane board:

1.

Remove the upper and lower front panel doors.  See section
3.1.2 for illustrations.

2.

Remove the drive bay plastic covers.
