Configuring for Operation
ACE-3105, ACE-3205 Ver. 5.2
Parameter Description
Possible
Values
VPI
The CES channel's VPI (virtual path identifier).
Note:
•
The VPI cannot be changed dynamically
(on-the-fly).
•
It is not possible to define VP XC and CES
XC with the same VPI on the same port.
•
Two CES XCs with the same VPI/VCI cannot
be configured on the same port.
•
When a VP/VC XC configuration uses an
existing VPL/VCL that is not part of a
VP/VC XC, the VPL/VCL should be modified
respectively.
•
0–255 if max VPI bits is 8
•
0–4095 if max VPI bits is 12
For the UNI and NNI
configuration, see
.
VCI
The CES channel's VCI (virtual channel
identifier).
Note:
•
The VCI cannot be changed dynamically
(on-the-fly).
•
It is not possible to define VC XC and CES
XC with the same VPI or VCI on the same
port.
32–65535
Out TD
The CES channel's traffic descriptor.
The TD parameter is calculated automatically
according to the number of time slots in the
CES bundle. The TD of the CBR-CES service
category is also created automatically upon
saving the CES XC.
1–99999 (read-only)
OD
The CES channel's OAM descriptor.
1–256
Default: 2
CDVT buffer
(msec)
The CDVT buffer delay in milliseconds,
towards the transmit (Tx) direction (ATM to
TDM direction).
1–32
Default: 3
Time slots
Number of timeslots in the CES bundle.
Relevant only in Structured mode and visible
only if the line type is not 'Unframed'.
Note:
•
Time slots cannot be used in more than
one CES XC.
•
Time slots cannot be changed dynamically
(on-the-fly).
1–32 for E1
1–24 for T1
