ACE-3105, ACE-3205 Ver. 5.2
Table
4-29. E1 Port Configuration Parameters
Parameter Description
Possible
Values
Port number
Number of the currently selected E1 port
1–4/8/16
Port activation
Enable/disable the E1 port in both the RX and
TX directions. No log file events or traps are
sent from this port upon physical layer events.
Note: The port cannot be deactivated if it was
assigned to an IMA group.
Enable
Disable
Default: Enable
Transmit clock
source
The source of the E1 port's transmit clock.
For more information about the system clock
source, see
Note:
•
If the E1 port is assigned to an IMA group in
CTC mode, the transmit clock source cannot
be changed.
•
Loopback is not available in Abis mode.
•
If the mode is changed to Abis, the current
transmit clock source value of the relevant
port will be set to all other Abis ports as
well.
•
If setting a different transmit clock source
for an Abis port, the new value will be set to
all other Abis ports as well.
Internal
Loopback
System
Default: System
RX sensitivity
The attenuation level of the receive signal that
is compensated for by the interface receive
path.
Low
Line type
Type of the E1 line implementing this circuit.
The type of circuit affects the number of bits
per second that the circuit can reasonably carry,
as well as the usage interpretation and error
statistics.
Note:
•
In UNI/IMA/Abis mode, Unframed’ is not
valid.
•
In CES-ATM mode, the line type cannot be
changed from CRC disabled/CRC enabled to
Unframed and vice versa as long as CES XC is
active on the relevant port.
CRC enabled
CRC disabled
Unframed
Default:
CRC Enabled
Idle code
Byte pattern of the data received/transmitted in
the E1 idle timeslots (relevant only for allocated
timeslots)
00 – FF Hex
Default: 7E
