7 Operation
7.1 Welding
For optimal welding results, set the appropriate parameters for the voltage and wire feed speed as follows.
Set the necessary gas volume on the gas cylinder’s pressure manometer.
WARNING
Health risk caused by inhaling harmful dust
The device contains harmful dust that can collect on surfaces and penetrate the ambient air as of the first
use. This can damage the respiratory tract when inhaled.
► Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
► Only use the device in rooms with sufficient ventilation.
► Ensure that all seals on the device are free from dirt and debris.
► The provided filtration system must be used when operating the device.
► The dust collecting drawer must be closed when operating the device.
► Do not open the dust collecting drawer for at least one minute after the device is switched off.
► Keep the device closed during operation and during the cleaning process.
► Immediately remove dust deposits from the environment with a dust class H industrial vacuum cleaner
or a damp cloth.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to fire
A fire may occur due to improper use or connection. They could cause major burns.
► Ensure that the operating voltage specified on the nameplate corresponds to the connection voltage.
► Do not use the device to extract welding fumes that result from welding oil-wetted parts.
► Do not use the device to extract flammable substances and liquids.
► Do not use the device in areas subject to dust or gas explosion hazards.

Switch on the welding power source by pressing
the ON switch on the rear side.

Turn the control dial (Voltage) to set the welding
voltage.

Turn the control dial (Current) to set the wire feed
speed.

If necessary, use the control dial (Inductance) to
set the throttle.

Press the torch button to start the welding process.
In stand-by mode, the welding current can only be
set to a value of between 0 and 99. It is only
possible to precisely set the welding current while
welding.
