About this manual

This manual describes the installation, commissioning and 
programming (circuit diagram generation) of the display 
system.

Specialist electrical training is needed for commissioning and 
creating circuit diagrams. When controlling active 
components such as motors or pressure cylinders, parts of 
the system can be damaged and persons put at risk if the 
display system is connected or programmed incorrectly.

Device designation

This manual uses the following abbreviated designations for 
different device models:

• Display system
• CL-AC2 for CL-LER.18AC2
• CL-DC2 for CL-LER.18DC2, CL-LET.20DC2
