Clamp and NP Diodes are mounted in the same stack. See
Figure 8-3 to
locate the semiconductors.
8.4.1
Preparatory Steps

Check that the drive has been deenergized and voltages have been
removed from the cabinet. See section
8.3 Safety.

Slide the clamp pressure loading gauge under the clamp ring of the
pressure adjusting bolt and remove the bolt to release the clamp
pressure of the stack using the 12 mm ½" hex socket from the tool
box.

Remove the clamp capacitors.
To release the clamp capacitors the nuts and hex head set screws
must be removed at the top and at the bottom end (see circles in
Figure 8-5) and the connection in the middle loosened (see arrow in
Figure 8-5).
