SATA

A Marvell 88SE9235 PCIe to SATA controller provides two Gen2 SATA backplane

ports on the PPC11A. The device is

connected to the processor via a PCIe switch.

Both SATA ports (SATA0 and SATA1) are connected to the P0 connector. The two
SATA ports are available with options PPC11A-xxxx3xxx, PC11A-xxxx4xxx,
PC11A-xxxx5xxx and PPC11A-xxxx8xxx (see the

section).

4.15

GPIO

The PPC11A supports up to 19 GPIO lines, each with interrupt generation

capabilities. They are all 3.3 V single-ended signals with 5 V tolerance.

Up to 19 lines are controlled by the FPGA and can be configured as inputs, with the
ability to generate level- or edge-triggered interrupts or outputs, with totem-pole or

open-drain drivers.

The GPIO signals are intended only to be used by Abaco software drivers. See the

relevant software manual for details.
