Several users:
If a group of users shares a mailbox, all the users will be notified. As soon as one of
the users has listened to the voice mails, the notifications to all the group members
will be cancelled.
Several notifications simultaneously:
If new notifications are received before the existing ones have been processed,
they will be placed into a queue by order of priority as determined by the type of
notification:
•
Callback requests are indicated with a higher priority (ahead of notifications by
the Voice Mail System).
•
Text messages are indicated with a lower priority (after notifications).
Entry on the list of unanswered calls:
If a call is forwarded to the Voice Mail System, it is useful if this action generates an
entry in the list of unanswered calls with the user concerned, regardless of whether
or not the caller has left a message. To ensure that this entry is generated, you need
to set the parameter
Entry in unanswered call list
to
Yes
for the Voice Mail user group
in the user group configuration.
Activate a mailbox
A mailbox is activated by a call forwarded (CFU, CFNR, CD, etc.) to a Voice Mail user
group number.
Note:
If the AVS Voice Mail System is combined with the Basic/Enterprise Voice
Mail System it is also possible to activate the mailbox by forwarding to
the Voice Mail number defined in the numbering plan (initialization value
899).
