you choose to answer the incoming call, you can answer the call, finish the call, 
and then hang up. You can still go back to the original outgoing call and finish 
dialing out.

Configuring Incoming Call Interrupts Dialing

Use the following procedures to configure "Incoming Call Interrupts Dialing" on 

the IP Phone.

Click on 

Basic Settings->Preferences->General

Incoming Call Interrupts Dialing

 field by checking the check box

Disable this field by unchecking the box

 Default is disabled.

Note:

On a 6753i, you must use the down arrow key to ignore the call. To 

answer the call you must press the line key where the call is coming in.

. If you disable this field, and the phone receives an incoming call while 

you are dialing an outgoing call, you can pick up the call and perform 
transfer or conference as required.
