■
RADIUS server group
— A server group that you have configured
previously.
■
LOCAL
— The WX switch’s local database.
You can add one or both methods to the list.
■
If you specify a RADIUS server group as the first method and the
administrator is denied access by the RADIUS server, no accounting is
attempted with the other methods specified in the list.
■
If you specify LOCAL as the first method and an administrator is not in
the local user database on the WX, accounting is attempted with a
RADIUS server group if one is defined in the method list.
To add a server group, click
Create
and go to “To define a RADIUS server
group” on page 298. After you create the server group, click
Choose
Available
and then select the server group from the list.

Managing
Administrator and
Console Access Rules
After you create administrative access rules, you can do the following to
manage the access rules:
■
Modify access rules.
■
Delete access rules.
■
Copy and paste access rules.
■
Move access rules.
The WX switch checks an administrator userglob against the rules in the
order the rules appear in this list, beginning at the top. Make sure the
most specific rules appear first and the most general rules appear last. To
move a rule up or down the list, select the rule, then select
Move Up
or
Move Down
. (For more information, see “Changing the Order of Access
Rules” on page 339.)
