Configuring VLANs
193
5
In the VLAN ID box, specify a VLAN number (2 to 4095). The VLAN
number must be unique on a particular WX.
6
In the VLAN Name box, type the name of the VLAN (1 to 16 alphabetic
characters long, with no numbers, spaces, or tabs).
7
In the Tunnel Affinity box, specify the numeric value (1 to 10) that each
WX in a Mobility Domain advertises for each of its VLANs. The default
is 5.
A higher tunnel affinity indicates a greater preference.
8
In the IP Address box, specify the IP address and subnet mask in classless
interdomain routing (CIDR) notation (for example, 10.10.10.10/16).
If you are creating a VLAN for a domain policy, this option is not available.
9
To enable IP on the VLAN, select
IP State
. To disable this option, clear
IP
State
. By default, this option is disabled.
If you are creating a VLAN for a domain policy, this option is not available.
