Using the Command Line Interface
multicast-data-rate
This command configures the maximum data rate at which the access point
transmits multicast and management packets (excluding beacon packets) on the
wireless interface.
Syntax
multicast-data-rate

speed>
speed
- Maximum transmit speed allowed for multicast data.
(Options for 802.11a: 6, 12, 24 Mbps)
(Options for 802.11b/g; 1, 2, 5.5, 11 Mbps)
Default Setting
1 Mbps for 802.11b/g
6 Mbps for 802.11a

This command configures the radio channel through which the access point
communicates with wireless clients.

- Manually sets the radio channel used for communications with
wireless clients.

- Automatically selects an unoccupied channel (if available).
Otherwise, the lowest channel is selected.
